import io

def mplimage(request):
    f = matplotlib.figure.Figure()

    FigureCanvasAgg(f)

    buf = io.BytesIO()
    plt.savefig(buf,format='png')
    plt.close(f)
    response = HttpResponse(buf.getvalue(),content_type='image/png')
    return response
